PlayBook Gets Cold Shoulder from Sprint

Research in Motion’s tablet hopes were struck yet again as Sprint Nextel stated that it has canceled plans to sell a version of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet on its faster network. This decision means that the tablet has yet to to find any support from the three largest wireless carriers in the United States, including AT&T and Verizon. Without the backing of these carriers, RIM will be forced to bear the burden of sales and marketing support for the device in addition to application development.

Google Updates Web Browser for Easier Tablet Experience

Google, in an attempt to evolve the experience and design of Google itself, has just improved the www.google.com search experience on tablets. How so you may ask? Well, Google has simplified the layout of search results pages and also increased the size of page content like text, buttons and other touch targets in order to make it faster and easier to browse and interact with your search results.

New iPad 2 Rumors Say SD Card Slot and Higher Resolution Not Coming

Apple rumors can become pretty crazy pretty fast. The latest one comes in about the iPad 2, slated to be released March 2nd. Remember when everybody heard about the last minuet alterations done to the Apple TV before it was released? Well apparently the same thing is happening to the iPad 2 and this time the runors are coming in about a few features that will be missing from the device that were previously reported to be included.
